Some interesting things that have happened since I have been in the great town of Brookings South Dakota:
1. We took mom and dad to the backyard BBQ Shack for lunch when we got here Monday, first words out of their mouth... Is it safe to eat here? haha no one has gotten sick yet....

2. Purchased a bed, which we managed to shove into the back of the suburban, that was interesting to say the least

3. It has been 3000 degrees since we have been here and Katie and I purchased the last 2 fans in the town of Brookings from Runnings yesterday, and this is no exaggeration, however the temperature has managed to drop 15 degrees since we purchased them.

4. Coming home from the bookstore yesterday we saw an older man laying on the ground next to his bike with 3 cars pulled over behind him, best we could tell he got hit by the car... this is pretty scary because I have to cross that road on MY BIKE!

5. We also managed to get acquainted with the grocery aisle of walmart yesterday by each spending $50.00 on groceries

6. We cooked lunch yesterday! Yes Mary, Katie and I made sloppy joes... no big deal haha

Alright I know that none of this was all that interesting but I know someone out there was dying to hear about the wonderful adventures of Grace today. Hopefully one of these days I will actually have something exciting to tell you all!
